Seventeen years ago, I discovered a then new product at a summer printmaking workshop. Akua ink - a soy based safer printmaking solution was my ‘aha’ moment. Delving into safer practices, without solvents or chemicals for clean up, opened a world of safer printmaking possibilities. In 2019 I opened the Asheville Print Studio. In addition to running the studio and pursuing my printed images, I create mixed media collages and printed home furnishing style accessories.
