LINO & WOOD BLOCK PRINTS
These images are made by cutting a design into a block of linoleum or wood with gouges made from knives and chisels. This leaves a raised areas that holds ink applied with a roller. An impression of the inked image is hand or press printed on paper. The block carving makes for a very physical form of printmaking which I love.
